Double podium for the Ligerteam in the Bellunese!
The “long distance Triathlon” arrived at the Santa Croce Lake Sunday the 4th of August, at Farra d’Alpago (BL), in the wonderful framework of the Prealps of Belluno, during the first edition of the Long Ligerman Triathlon.
The competition has been dominated by true stars of the national and international scene, above all the Italian Absolut Champions of 2013, Alberto Casadei, and 2013, Massimo Cigana of the Ligerteam Keyline.
And to conquer the 2nd and the 3rd place have been precisely two athletes of the Ligerteam Keyline, Francesco Cauz and Massimo Cigana.
One of the principal supporters and sponsor of the event, as well as the founder of the Ligerteam Keyline, Massimo Bianchi, narrates: “Where the competition took place, in the distant 1988, as an autodidact, I learned how to swim in the lake, I begun doing the time-trials with the Bianchi for street, made not of carbon but of iron, changed into a bicycle for triathlon with the experimental Scott’s handlebars bought through mail order from the USA. And I used to run right in that park where the competition took place”.
Massimo Bianchi, pioneer and innovator in the key business, can be considered a pioneer in the triathlon in Italy as well. “In my own small way – says the founder and strategic planner of Keyline – I thought in big. This is the destiny of the pioneers: they start early the things so, when these things will be understood by the markets, they will be too old to enjoy them".
